Spoilers The Pitt on Max

also according to Reddit and Tumblr, Dr. Santos is either overconfident and arrogant but willing to grow or a dangerous sociopath who became a doctor just to cut people up.
Honestly, I think that just underscores problems with Reddit and Tumblr denunciation culture. Santos is overconfident and arrogant (not that unlike the surgeons on the show, particularly Garcia who would rather bury her head in the sand than deal with thorny problems), BUT she reports an actual problem with drug theft and abuse. She may like to show off and arrogantly tackle issues, but she does have a strong moral core.

I am proud of myself I caught the Langdon drug situation right at the beginning. I noticed how hyped he seemed and wondered if he was tweaking on something....and turns out he was! But it was well done how in the first few episodes he was jittery, but then calmed down after a few more and then by the middle of the day was more mellow as the drugs settled out.
Trouble is, the drugs Langdon is stealing that we hear about are all sedatives/hypnotics like Librium and Ativan/Lorazepam. They'd be more likely to be the cause of him calming down by the middle of the day.

Damn, what a great show! I cannot wait for another season. This was just perfect.

your right might have just had it reversed.

Watched the finale, man what a wonderful season of Television, chef's kiss.

I liked that the final episode was fairly "mundane" compared to what had happened, but your holding your breath the whole time worried that something will happen. And then at the end you finally relax and exhale, aka that same feeling after coming home from a damn long day.

I appreciated how they handled the McKay arrest, some good old fashioned common sense won out the day. I also like that as McKay and Robbie continued to discuss the kid, Robbie never really let her off the hook. When she asked him if she did the right thing, he evaded it....at the end of the day McKay's action might have hurt the kid's future, but its a messy situation and the decision is made, Robbie doesn't see the point in condemning her, but he isn't going to say she was right either. One thing my friend did point out is, the staff as a whole was harsh on the kid. No one even asked him if he was having any suicidal thoughts (which that social media post could have easily been a suicide note as much as a threat), everything floating around the idea of him hurting women and so there was this hostility towards him even as they were trying to help him. A bit different than the abundance of care and sympathy given to other patients.

The reporter scene was also a bit dramatic. He was restrained and noting to the cop that he was being held against his will....which the security guard ignored after Santos shook him away. But....he kind of is being held against his will, his not a psych patient, and while he does have a medical injury, if he wants to sign an AMA form and leave they are obligated to do so, they can't just leave him in restraints because he's an a**hole.

Hehe my money is on Verna coming back in S2, I feel like she is the end game series boss :)

My wife and I started in on the series late so we had all but the very last episode available to us. We binged through it pretty hard the last few evenings because it was absolutely compelling television. A real treat.

Yeah, I think Langdon's joke about being ADHD might be not too far from the mark for the character. I think that could easily look like someone hyped up on some kind of stimulant as he zooms about from one hyper-fixation case to another.
