The potion maker might also forget what the blue potion next to the green in the back of the closet do so it is probably written on it.

Agreed! Still, the potion maker might use some secret code that only his guild-mates can understand, and/or labels his potions in a language that not every PC might understand (e.g., his own).

Sorry you're having problems with it - I honestly don't find it too bad or overly complicated. But that's just me. Feel free to email me if you want and ask questions.

Another question - are you actually running a regular game or just reading the book? I find it becomes much easier to understand with practice.
