Here you go:
1. My FLGS got it in as soon as it was available (which they do in nearly all cases). Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti (Michigan) only has one gaming store of note, The Underworld, and it's an excellent store. There's also a Rider's Hobby or two (not well run or well stocked, IMO -- no idea if they have Dyn&Dem) and several chain bookstores that have a haphazard gaming selection (Borders, Waldenbooks, etc. -- and I don't know if they carry it either).
2. They displayed it on their rack of new releases, which is the first thing you see when you enter the store. The rack is at least 75% d20 products, all placed so that you can see 3/4 of the cover (and set side by side). Dyn&Dem shared the shelf with about 25 other books. Once it moved off the new releases shelf, it joined the rest of the d20 pool on the general shelves (only spines visible as they have a lot of product).
3. The manager at my FLGS who I spoke to the most often about d20 books isn't there anymore, and most of the employees aren't pushy about products (and they also sell comics, minis, TCGs, anime, etc.), so I'd be unlikely to hear about any new goodies from them. (I generally know what's coming down the pipeline anyway.)
4. I've skimmed a review on these boards, but not gone out of my way to look for others.
It looks like a pretty impressive book, although not really my kind of thing (as far as I can tell).
