Pathfinder 1E Would a cutlass be a rapier, longsword, or shortsword?

AFAIK, cutlasses aren't used for fencing, but their lighter, longer cousins, the sabers, are. The other classic fencing weapons were the foil, épée, rapier, and Italian dueling sword.

Ah, my mistake. I'm no fencing expert (though I have grown a recent interest), but I can see how those weapons can be mistaken for one another.

Apparently, "Pirates of the Inner Sea" has stats for the cutlass in Pathfinder.

Scimitar! Since they are both curved. Cutlasses are shorter and heavier, but same deal basically

This is probably the closest of the core rulebook options.

It may be in Pirates of the Inner Sea but that doesn't mean the info isn't available for free as well.
