PC races were included in the back of the 4E MM (starting on page 276) and MM 2 (starting on page 220).For the life of me, I can't recall such thing in any of the 4e MMs.

Based on the 4E MM - which was pretty lore-light compared to the core monster books from other editions - we could actually see more entries; they'll just all be much less detailed. They'll use the new statblock, and rewrite the lore to try to avoid causing offense, and likely have fewer entries as a result (it takes more ink to do what people are asking for in a lore re-write).
Maybe, but I still doubt that the PC races will be in the MM and I still hope that as well.Oh I think all three books are going bigger, they have to give you not just adjusted stats, but new stuff, updating it not worth it enough when the 5e PHB will already be compatible, there needs to be more then that, and that takes more space.
Price and page count mostly seem uncounted in 5e anyways.
It's unclear if we will still have a functioning society by the year 2024. So I voted "maybe."

I don’t think societal collapse is that imminent. It's unclear if we will still have a functioning society by the year 2024. So I voted "maybe."
