We knew Mundi was wrong 25 years ago. That's the context of his comment in TPM.

Yoda also knew something.

So no real reason tbf.

Same episode Venestra may not be the most reliable Jedi reporting to the council.
Except now Mundi was alive and a witness to these events as per this episode.

Except now Mundi was alive and a witness to these events as per this episode.

Not sure if he is on the council who aren't being informed in any event.

Red lightsabers aren't exclusive to the Sith either.

On Khofar you have Jedi encounter something using a red lighsaber. We don't know who survives yet there's a few red shirts.

It seems Mae knows something. That information has not reached any of the Jedi yet.

In legends when they did it the person who told the Jedi was dying and it was basically a rumor. That's how Yoda knew.

There's lots of ways the information doesn't get to where it's needed or if it's believed.

And Mundi was wrong we knew that 25 years ago. So far they haven't broken canon whatsoever. They might screw that up Disney is either subtle as a brick in the face or so vague as to be useless. See how it plays out.

Jords a giant douche but every now and then he does something sympathetic. Probably means the actor is doing his job.

Well, watched EP 4 for what it was worth. That was ... not good. I'm very willing to give a lot of leeway to stuff, but, wow, that was pointless. Let's introduce a really cool Wookie Jedi and then kill them in the most boring way possible. As an added bonus, we get to watch the characters traipse through a forest for most of the episode and.... kill a big moth.

That was an episode that was pretty much entirely skippable.

After the third ep I realized it's not for me.

I don't think it's a good show, but I recognize how it can still have value for its target audience.

Its also not worse than other mediocre SW shows. Just to preempt the "woke" angle: No, I'm not some MAGA incel. Obi-Wan and Boba Fett featured white male leads and still managed some atrociously low lows. Amandla is fine.

It's better than both of them. On its current trajectory it will finish up around Obi Wan.

Episode 3 was fin but probably to long and to early. Episode length might be to short.

Episode 1&2 chuds were dogpiling it as expected. Episode 4 everyones dog piling it even rocks Disney channels. They haven't broken canon but haven't explained things very well either. Episode 3 kinda sucked the momentum out of it.

Fett and Obi Wan had higher expectations.

Non Chuds

Ouch
He loved TFA and TLJ.

Normally calls out chud type stuff.

But yeah usual problems keep cropping up. Rushed, vague, pacing. High Republic fans upset with Venestras depiction as well.

Generation techs usually fairly positive.

Star Wars sub reddits it varies but yeah.

Comparisons same guy.

You can completely skip episode 3 tbh and still follow the story. So short episodes effecting the pacing, bit vague and confusing and 1/4 of it isn't actually needed. Finally going somewhere and cliffhanger.

In my opinion, it's the best live action Star Wars TV show so far. The Mandalorian was entertaining, but it lacked the depth of this show.
Wow, really?

I enjoyed the first three eps. Not fantastic, but, certainly watchable. But that last ep. Wow that was not good. Nothing happened for 40 minutes.

Lots happened. we had important character development for Mae, Qimir and others, the information that Kelnacca had become obsessed with the witches, and the suggestion that Osha was on a dark side trajectory. And we had wilderness exploration: do we cut out all the wilderness exploration from a D&D game because "nothing happens for 40 minutes"?

Sometimes, I think that the overlap between Stars Wars fans and people who can detect subtlety is tiny.
