Six Inevitables?

How many Inevitable types are there? I count six -- the three from the Monster Manual 3.5, two from either MM2 or FF (I can't remember offhand) and the really inexplicable one from Sandstorm.

I know there isn't one from Frostburn -- no inevitable love for the cold. And I hope there isn't one in Stormwrack, because that would make even less sense than the desert one.

Are there Inevitables in any other supplements? I'd imagine there should be an epic-level one at least. And how about third-party supplements? They're OGC, after all.

No you're right, just 6 of them. I wish they came out with more though. Maybe MMIV might surprise us.

I'm glad I didn't start an "All the Different Kinds of Inevitables" thread then.

Were the inevitables a creation for 3E? I kind of thought they were a carryover from a previous edition...

I know the marut first appeared in the 1e Manual of the Planes. Inevitable as a creature type is pretty much new to 3e.
