In fact, I just told one KIckstarter creator not long ago that their digital tier was too steep for work by unknowns that I was only liable to find value in reading. They said they were setting things so the artists and other contributors were being paid properly, and that might be true, but its still too steep to pay for a $35 PDF blind.
Yeah, sometimes the lines of "This is how much money I need to do the thing I want to do" and "This is how much money I am willing to spend on the thing you want to do" just don't meet, and then there's just no deal to be had – at least not for that particular thing.

This is what you get for teaching her the concept of object permanence. ;)
Me?!? I noodle around with TTRPG forums on the Internet! I'm not qualified to teach anything! She's teaching herself! She taught herself how to get the toys to play songs my wife and I didn't even realize were in there, with button-press combinations. She's already figured out to put her thumb on the thumbprint on the phone screen to unlock it, but my wife and I aren't dumb enough to put her fingerprints in there...

That kind of takes me back... when my elder daughter was a toddler, she figured out how to eject CDs from my Mac by dragging the CD icon to the trash. She got it from watching me, but for a while I lived in fear of what else she might toss in the trash icon.

That why you do not have that the trash is emptied when you log out. :)
