No, this is not the Wings place I went to before, but at least I try to find answers - not insults (right, Dogbrain?)

Anybody care to give a review on this place?

That's the one I'm talking about, but no; I don't recall the name either.
I think you're thinking of Buffalo Wild Wings (aka BW3). It's at 15 E. Maryland St, right by Circle Center Mall.

If someone could explain WHY it's BW3 instead of BW2, I'd be most appreciative. The last I looked, there's only two W's in the name. But, I digress.

Alcatraz Brewing Co. has decent micro-pub food, not to mention "home-made" beer. It's accessble through Circle Center Mall. A better micro-brewery is the Oaken Barrel located on Indy's southside, in Greenwood. Just off exit 95 on I-65 south.

The Hard Rock Cafe was open 24 hrs for the length of the con, though I'm not sure if they got enough business last year that they'll try it again.

Jillian's offered pub-type fare until close, and it was even pretty decent stuff.

This morning I'll post a great place to walk to in the summer for lunch. Its actually several merchants all under one roof in the historic city market. Something for everybody. Check the web site for all the great places to go. I like Jumbo's (mmmmmm... ham samwidge), Enzo Pizza (who can think of a better food than calzones?), and Wilma's (spicy pasta alfredo and jumbalaya).

Though the website kinda sucks.

Bee-dubs! Man, I love their Caribbean Jerk sauce. I like to order bacon swiss burgers with that stuff.

BW3's used to be called Buffalo Wild Wings & Weck (at least they were when I went to one at IU about 7 years ago). Nobody I was with could tell me what weck was -- some kind of tenderloin sandwich I think. They must have gotten tired of explaining weck to everyone.

Acopulco Joes!!!
Great mexican food.
Plus its downstairs from a net cafe (mostly PCs setup for gaming)!
On Illinois and Vermont if I remember right.

I second the motion on Acapulco Joe's. Had a great early dinner there last year. Excellent Mexican at very resonable prices. A bit of a walk but worth it.

At noon they play God Bless America. I didn't know about the net cafe upstairs. I'll have to check that out next time I'm over there.

Wow, the boards have really changed!

Today's place is kind of a mix of bar and movie theatre.

I've had a lot of fun here, but the last few times I went, I got kind of lousy service. Basically, its a movie theater with dinner tables and you can order food (so-so pub-grub) and drinks (full bar). My suggestion, order all your drinks up front so you don't have to try to get a waiter's attention during the movie. It sucks finishing a beer and having to wait for the next one (hehe maybe that's just me).

It would be really cool if HB&F got hip to the Gencon crowd and offered up some genre movies during the con. If you think this would be fun, feel free to send them email.

Some people have suggested St. Elmo's steakhouse to me. It might not be downtown. Is it any good?

And I live in a town of less than 60,000, and even here there are places to get food 24 hours a day: IHOP, Jack in the Box, Whataburger, Denny's, Bill's Cafe, Jim's Restaurant. Any place that has factories or warehouses with three shifts has places to eat open 24 hours.
