Poison (Ex): The tentacles of the gossammer secrete a nauseating paralytic poison (DC 12 or take 1 point of damage and be nauseated for 1 round). Gossamers only attack prey smaller than themselves. If the offending object is larger than one foot lenght/height, the shoal immediately changes direction away from the offending critter. The gossamer may accidentally collide with and sting larger creatures, or foolish crewmen may touch a dead gossamer that has landed on a ship deck.
Wildspace Traits (Ex): Gossamers do not need to breathe air to survive. +4 racial bonus to Spot.
