Fifth Element
Legend
You often see certain classes abbreviated as Taclord and Starlock (Tactical Warlord and Star Pact Warlock respectively). So I thought I'd extend this to an absurd degree.
First, you have to realize that the names are not based on builds, but on class features that provide two or more options, so there are actual mechanical differences in palay. Often there is a 1:1 ratio between these class feature options and suggested builds, but not always. So here we go:
Batter (battlerager fighter)
Tempter (tempest fighter)
Archer (archer ranger)
Twoblader (two-blade ranger)
Beastmaster (beastmaster ranger) (seems like cheating, doesn't it?)
Artfogue (artful dodge rogue)
Brutogue (brutal scoundrel rogue)
Ruthogue (ruthless ruffian rogue)
Eldlock (eldritch pact warlock) (also a very old warlock)
Feylock (fey pact warlock)
Inlock (infernal pact warlock)
Starlock (star pact warlock)
Vestlock (vestige pact warlock) (could call it a button instead?)
Inlord (inspiring warlord) (also a warlord related by marriage)
Taclord (tactical warlord)
Bralord (bravura warlord) (a warlord of many conquests)
Reslord (resourceful warlord)
Orbimpard (orb of imposition wizard)
Orbdecard (orb of deception wizard)
Staffard (staff wizard)
Wandard (wand wizard)
Tombinard (tome of binding wizard)
Tomreazard (tome of readiness wizard)
Purvenger (pursuit avenger)
Retrivenger (retribution avenger)
Ragarian (rageblood barbarian)
Thanarian (thaneborn barbarian)
Cunard (cunning bard)
Valard (valor bard)
Presciard (prescience bard)
Guardruid (guardian druid)
Predruid (predator druid) (also a druid-in-training)
Presoker (preservation invoker) (does laundry between adventures)
Wravoker (wrath invoker)
Protectoman (protector shaman) (also a badly-named superhero)
Stalkman (stalker shaman) (also what hunters use to listen to music)
Dragerer (dragon sorcerer)
Wilderer (wild sorcerer)
Storerer (storm sorcerer)
Cosmerer (cosmic sorcerer)
Earden (earthstrength warden)
Wirden (wildblood warden)
Assmage (assault swordmage)
Shieldmage (shielding swordmage)
Ensnaremage (ensnarement swordmage)
Note that the cleric, paladin and artificer lack an appropriate class feature for this naming convention. Clerics and paladins may get them in Divine Power (the fighter had to wait for Martial Power, after all), but the artificer appears to be out of luck.
