... I was impressed with the Orcish Barbarian Smackdown. I don't have Dragon #282, and was wondering if someone would be so kind as to give me a rundown on what the PrC Blessed of Gruumsh gives you. I'm thinking of loosely basing a PC from what I saw in the Smackdown thread, and would like to have a better idea on what that particular PrC entails.

Btw, when using a double weapon, like the orcish double-ax, do you get 1.5 your STR bonus for the main head? I thought you'd only get your regular STR for the main one, and 1/2 for the second.

Please, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

It depends.

In a full attack, using both heads, it's 1 and 0.5.

In a single attack, using only one head - say a charge, or a surprise round, or some other reason, you can use 1.5.

Hyp is correct - treat it as a big weapon (1.5) unless you use both heads at once, in which case it's 1 and .5.
