Holger Carlson from Three Hearts and Three Lions, champion of Law and the modern fantasy prototype of the paladin

Skafloc, elven-fosterling, from The Broken Sword, who achieves victory for the elves in their war with the trolls

I already mentioned Obi-Wan above, who took Vader to the cleaners twice.
Yes, with Anakin could not win because Obi-Wan had the high ground. Sigh.

I really wanted to like the Obi Wan series more.

And later Han Solo knocks him out of the skies and Luke beats him as well.

Still . . .

Rogue One was a really cool fantasy warrior sword fight. And I really liked the Empire Strikes back duel.

I was considering Carlson as well. Defeats the forces of Chaos and then stomps a platoon of Nazis, while naked.
