Also, Paizo is extremely generous when it comes to VTTs -- for most of them, you get the price of the PDF off whatever the VTT is charging. This is true even if you got the PDF via subcription or even a Bundle. If it is in your digital library at Paizo, it counts. Between that and its commitment to actual open gaming, Paizo is far and away the most consumer friendly company in the space.
Pathfinder 2E AP Sales numbers?
For whatever it’s worth, Kingmaker is probably the second most talked about AP on reddit for new GMs. Stolen Fate and Fist of the Ruby Phoenix seem to get a lot of discussion too which I think is because they’re 11-20 APs so people looking to continue on from AV are looking for something to follow up with. I know my table is going with Stolen Fate.
Yep, that was actually why I started the AP subscription for Season of Ghosts. The Tian Xia material sounded so good and getting a future Foundry module at a discount since I’d have the PDF in my account sounded like a good plan since SoG is on my short list for APs to run in the future.

One thing to note is that a lot of people these days have Pathfinder subscriptions. So there are a lot of sales happening that are just 'automatic'.
Since the release of the Gatekeepers AP, I've been mailed / PDF'd every thing Paizo makes for Pathfinder, including the PDF only Pathfinder Society stuff.
There's a massive value add in having a sub in that you get the books + PDFs for the cost of the (print books - 15%). I seem to get the Pathfinder Society stuff for $0, but that might be what everyone gets them for.
This can however, give local stores the impression that Paizo stuff isn't doing well - because for them it isn't.

My original intent with the topic was to find out which 2e APs are considered to be "successful".
- I tried deducing this from the number of the related paizo forum topics (Kingmaker and Abominations Vault have many topics, the rest not so much).

I mean, Kingmaker and Abomination Vaults are sort of more open than most APs, aren't they? One is closer to a classic multi-delve dungeon crawl and the other is a kingdom-building AP. They get more topics because there's just a lot more ways they can go, so there are more questions to ask.

I currently have a rulebook, Lost Omens, Adventure, and Adventure Path subscription which gives me a free PDF and 15% discount which while it doesn't apply to Foundry stuff, they do discount the Foundry module if you have the PDF in your library so good enough.
Btw the society stuff is free if you have 4 subscription items, you actually get to pick between the Pathfinder or Starfinder society material each month with them prompting you to review your selection each month. I bought plenty of books from a couple of the FLGS but going forward the direct subscription just makes so much more sense for me. The 2 closest stores to me don't carry much beyond the core rulebooks I already own so even if I wanted to support them, they don't carry anything I want.
