Any way to change the width of the avatar column?

Does the avatar column need to be that big?
It looks like it's gobbling up quite a bit of the width of the page, and it's even wider on this updated Forum software than before.

Anyone else feel like it could be shrunk down a bit, and more room left for the posts?
Anyone know how to accomplish this setting change?

I don't really have a problem with it. It's a little wider than it used to be, but it isn't causing me any undue stress or problems, and I don't like hacking software without a *really* good reason.

Besides, the vB3 styles have not yet been released. vB3 currently uses the old vB2 styles, and upon the "gold" release, the developers intend to have a new (and, incidentally, less cluttered) style for the the software, so it's best if we wait to see what they come up with.
