For context, 2E had the entire green book historical series with which you could play D&D with the option of no magic. I don't see why you couldn't port that over to 5E, with many of the "kits" being reworkable as subclasses.
Also, if we had a spell-less Ranger, we'd have a few more base options to use, and their affinity with nature and natural surroundings would probably make them very appealing.
