How would you build a Draconic Sorcerer?
Using Standard Array (15-14-13-12-10-8).
No Multiclassing.
PHB only.
Campaign Level 1 to 12.
Basically, I wanna build a Blaster that can dish a lot of damage and have some sort of CC. Also taking advantage of that CHA on social situations.
Im imagining...
Holy naughty word, that's badass! I also liked the creativity that you put in your character.
I like to base my character on something that I enjoy. For example, I was thinking about creating this character based on my Mage in Classic WoW. Not the same character, just some inspiration. I know it might...
Gotcha!
And how do you gusy feel about Draconic Sorcerer compared to these guys? Would it shine more in a Combat driven campaign or that's too relative?
Considering a campaign from level 1 to 12. Only PHB allowed. No Multiclassing.
How would you rate these 2 Wizard Subclasses, in terms of:
DPR
CC
Utility
Social
Exploration
"Fun factor"
Great characters!
I never played Wizard but I played a Tempest Cleric. I enjoyed it, the back story was related to Thor. The spiritual weapon was a mjolnir type of hammer and my role was a mix if healer and dmg. The only thing that I would change was the "religious" link on the character, it was...
Regarding only Full Spellcaster Classes: Bard, Cleric, Druid, Sorcerer, Wizard, Warlock.
Considering mid level range (lvl 5 to 10).
How would you rate these Classes in terms of:
DPR
CC+Debuffs
Heals+Buffs
Utility+Skills
Social Tools
The DM said that the campaign will probably be from level 1 to 12. No Multiclassing was the only condition the DM stated, I'd like to build a strong Character but not cheesy enough to spoil the game for the other players.
Intermediate player planning to build a high damage/tanky character. The classes that popped up on my mind were Paladin and Barbarian. Multiclassing is not allowed on this campaign and it will be from level 1 to 12. I wanna know your thoughts about their features and gameplay, comparing them...
Gotcha. Vengeance Paladin or any Paladin Subclass fits that role?
Yeah, I'll create a good story for it.. but this time I was kinda forced to pick the Class first. =/
What would you play then? I can also roll paladin. My goal was to play a good Damage Dealer with a bit of Tankyness/survivability. Also simple management.
Well, I didn't have much time to think about it tbh. The campaign I was gonna play got canceled a few weeks ago and then out of nowhere one...
Im having a hard time picking one of those two classes: Open Hand Monk and Bear Totem Barbarian.
Could you guys tell me more about their:
1- Gameplay Mechanics (Combat, Social and Exploration)
2- Role in party (Dmg or Tank Potential)
3- DPR (How hard can they hit compared to other Classes?)...
I really like your tier lists, cause you give some good info to each Subclass and the reasons behind your picks.
I think the ultimate tier list compendium would be: 3 separate lists for each pillar (Combat, Social and Exploration), Subclasses from PHB+SCAG+XGtE, divided by levels (just the way...
Oh, I wasn't asking for campaign purposes actually... I was just curious about it. But idk, you can assume levels 1-15, maybe? I think that's the most common
