  • Please excuse the mess. This is my first wiki. Any help would be appreciated.

I've decided to develop this as an openoffice spreadsheet document first, then port it to the wiki eventually.
The link to the alpha sheet is comment only. The beta will be editable.

The following tables are designed to help players create a mutant character (human, animal, or plant). Players, in consultation with GMs, can choose their number and kind of mutations, or generate them randomly. Mutations are divided into two broad categories - Physical and Fantastic.

Physical mutations are characteristics that are limited to those that are found in the majority of natural humans, animals and plants, such as carapaces, feathers, multiple limbs, and colorizations.

Fantastic mutations are everything else that has no natural biological equivalent. This includes psionics, energy projections (with such notable exceptions as bioelectrical discharge as found in electric eels), and other (insert examples here).

The table is organized by a modified and expanded d% system -

    - the first set of rolls generates a number from 01 - 00.
    - if the results indicate a subtable is available, an additional d10 is rolled on the subtable, and is noted as a decimal point. So one may roll a 43, which indicates
TORSO - Variant Colorization (color subtable)

An additional d10 is rolled and the color table is consulted. The number is indicated as 43.6, which is Violet.

    10. Other / Custom /Choose
Any shade/hue of the color is possible. Brown may appear anywhere from beige to tan to espresso. Violet may appear as nearly pink to lilac to plum.

If the roll was 45, the result is TORSO - Variant Color Pattern (subtable). An additional roll results in 45.4 - splotchy.

    10. Sectioned - Roll twice
For patterns - the color table is rolled twice to create a base coat and the layered splotches. It is noted as 43.5.(2/6)

Orange Base/Violet Splotches - quite the combo of secondary colors!
