The Justicar

Conan has got to be the ultimate epic hero in recent fantasy literature.

Otherwise my guilty pleasure favorite is the Justicar from the recent Greyhawk module novels. He fights dirty like a good anti-hero and lays down such smackery upon his foes that never see him coming. He strikes from behind and from ambush. He's the antithesis of the kick-down-the-door frontal assault archetype.
