D&D General Where is the tv/movie drama about G. Gygax?

I wouldn't have thought this would make for an interesting movie, but if they can make an entertaining story about the origins of McDonald's then why not D&D? I don't see it as a big budget movie, but a nice little medium sized budget drama with some good but not too expensive actors might work.

That and the fact I don't think they've got my order right in over 2 years. Every time I go there I tell myself this is going to be the time I get what I wanted. Shame on me I guess. Good movie though

This would be a niche production with various famous actors using their own money to fund it. And the only reason it would get aired is because X famous person said they would do Y movie if Netflix ran the E.G.G. Movie.

I’m not sure about Danny DeVito as Gary. Who would do that role well? I’m thinking Paul Giamatti. How about Dave Arneson?
