I work for a large insurance firm where I work at the mergers and acquisitions department and advise the board and managing directors on all sort strategic issues. The salary is in the highest bracket, especially in USD.

I'm an electronics technician for the RF Department at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory... I help fix machines that make antimatter.

I make enough to pay the bills, and just a little extra besides.

I jumped ship from a large insurance firm to a large bank, which is now about to be swallowed up by an even larger bank. It will thus be only a matter of time before I'm tossed out on the street, forced to prostitute my body and/or my knowledge of D&D to survive, and so I'm living it up while I can!

1.) Why would you be tossed out on the street?

2.) If you're a hot tranny, sure, as for your knowledge of D&D, I have plenty in stock.

Manager of the technical support department for a small software company, though my job is too stressful now and I hate it. I liked it much better when I was just an ordinary (though apparently high-performing) support tech, answering phones and emails.

Somehow I managed to be the best tech support person in the department by a high margin, closing the most calls and getting the highest feedback rating, while still slacking off for most of the day playing online games and doing my own personal projects. It wouldn't have been so bad when they promoted me except they haven't hired anyone to replace me in my old position, so right now I'm doing BOTH jobs, and being told I should do MORE. *sigh*

Anyway, I know you just wanted to know what I do, not whether I like it, but I had to gripe. ;)
