I really don’t care. You’re making something outta nothing. Garth didn’t disparage religion, he noted some pretty commonly discussed changes in “Judeo-Christian” beliefs over the centuries.

Everything I quoted was him disparaging religion. If I had to pick a worst offender it would be associating prayer with magic - which is not a commonly discussed change of anything.

It literally is dnd magic. That isn’t disparaging, I am a theist. I pray to my gods.

But in a discussion about dnd, it’s not weird at all to talk about how metaphysical religious beliefs are literally magical.

It's impossible that it could have been debunked. There isn't a study that could control for every possible factor in order to debunk it.

Then let me rephrase - what you wrote was untrue.

All you have is 21st century theories (that tend to be anti religious) about what happened. Anything you say there has to be taken with a big grain of salt.
