Has anyone got any good memories of this book, or it’s battles, to share. I know it’s oft criticised but I remember great battles with fondness.
I had a Minifigs Norman army as a teen, so the mainstay of the forces of good was easily available, along with the various dwarf, elf, treant, gnome and other figures we could put together as a group.
In opposition were all our orc, goblin, ogre, minotaur, werewolf, etc figures that we could muster, all at 10:1 ratios.
It was simplistic. It was later swamped by Warhammer battles, with all its sophistication, complexity and terrain, but I always loved the joy of Swords and Spells.
