To every spell (turn, turn, turn)
There is a magic ring (turn, turn, turn)
And a ring for every purpose, that you've dreamed of

Except friggin' storage, man.
I'm not a fan either. But at least the player gets to decide when to use the Ring of Spell Storage. Most of these other rings just sit around on a player's finger, wasting a valuable attunement slot until the DM decides they can be used. Pbbbth.

Ram has been my favorite since Shadows of Amn.

I was actually kind of thinking Ram was a shoo-in for the winner at the beginning; other than a handful of artifacts (including some sundry Vecna body parts) I can think of no magic item more associated with old-school, back-to-basics D&D, and that's the sort of thing that tends to win these.

None of these are rings I would've pegged making it this far, except for maybe Free Action and Invisibility.
