I thought it was awful.

Maybe I just didn't understand it but every other line it contradicted itself.

I will try and rewatch.
I do not think you are the alone here. My 12 year old, a die hard SW fan, went to bed 15 minutes into the first episode.

Like most of the D+ shows, the writing is terrible with massive plot holes. They have 2 hours of content that they stretch into 8 episodes which is ironic because I detest the 30-35 minutes length of the SW D+ episodes. It is just lazy although I guess they d it because they cannot hire competent writers.

I am a fan of the actors, in general, but I am just tired of terrible, lazy writing.

Even Mando season 1 and 2. I felt that they were, at best, average with large parts of the episodes wasted on long walks.

I certainly thought it was better than most of the recent Star Wars stuff, but I also don't set too high a bar for Star Wars. it has never been well written and never offered sophisticated storytelling.

Also, you can't identify plot holes until after the story is complete. You don't know if something is going to be addressed or answered later.

She was guilty even though there were witnesses that could verify her whereabouts and she had no access to get off the planet. Then, instead of taking her back via their ship, they stuck her on a poorly guarded transport. Finally, a republic ship rescued the prisoners and took them all the way back to Coruscant for interrogation and then they went from Coruscant back to investigate the crash for survivors. They could have looked when they were there the first time.

I love SW and there are well-written media in the form of games, novels, and movies but they are not hiring from the A, B, or C team.

They do things because of the power of plot and hand-waiving.

She was guilty even though there were witnesses that could verify her whereabouts and she had no access to get off the planet.
She works on a ship, not a planet, and her friends remark on her not having joined them on their trip to Na Shadaa, which indicates that (a) she and her friends do have access to transportation to other planets, and (b) she does not, in fact, have an established alibi.
Then, instead of taking her back via their ship, they stuck her on a poorly guarded transport.
Transporting prisoners is what those transports do.
Finally, a republic ship rescued the prisoners and took them all the way back to Coruscant for interrogation and then they went from Coruscant back to investigate the crash for survivors. They could have looked when they were there the first time.
The prisoners weren't well-disposed towards her. They probably didn't even mention the possibility of other survivors until they'd been delivered to the Jedi temple.
