Spoilers Star Wars: Andor season 2

Also, what was with the other fighter that swooped overhead before Cassian arrived?

Also, I felt the situation on the farm planet was a bit on-the-nose, with white farmers hiring "illegal" POC to help them while Imperial officers check visas and such.

That will feed the youtube outrage.

Did Cinta straight-up assassinate Tay (I was expecting her to just casually open the roof and flip the speeder)?
And what will the Doctor think about this behavior? ;)

And most importantly, did Cassian stop off for B2?
Yeah, I wondered about that, too. I have prepared myself for a very sad B2 death scene, but if he (truly) went to happily live out his days on the farm on Mina-Rau I will be OK with that.

Superb start.
Is it true we're getting another 3 episodes again next week?
That is what I heard; 4 weeks, 3 episodes each week.

TIE Avenger thing has gone on a while. Having a more advanced ship than Vaders TIE may not be best idea. Even casuals are going to notice it's snazzy vs Vader ANH one.
Expensive hard to fly overcomplicated is not the same as better, and prototypes are not the same as production models.

As for Vader's fighter, he worked on it himself, retaining the skills he had as Anakin. it is to a production fighter what the Millennium Falcon is to a production freighter.

Vaders TIE was about as produced as the Avenger originally. They're both rare (think F22). Disney can do whatever they want visually ones a more modern design but Andors set before ANH.

I'm assuming it will get destroyed.

Given that this model does not appear in the movies, and the Tie Fighter game is not canon, we can assume this was a design that was not carried forward into production. It's different to the Ties used by Inquisitors in Rebels.

So far it's ok, but it feels like a step down from season 1.

I didn't mind the wedding, but Cassian struggling to pilot the TIE, the incompetent rebels, the Alpine commercial, and the cringe Daedra/Cyril/Mom dynamics felt a weird mixture of comic relief and cringe vastly out of tone with both the previous season and Rogue One.

Hopefully it will improve.
