This is probably a good time to remind everyone that "is bad" and "don't like" are not synonyms.
I was about to say something similar in the other MM thread, where the discussion has turned to what portions of the DMG, if any, should have been removed to make room for monster creation rules, and where posters are equating "I didn't like it" with "it's bad" as well..

Wait, there aren't monster creation rules in the MM?
 


Personally I think a lot of his work is better than Easley, Elmore, Otis, Caldway, Parkinson, et. al. However, like all artist (those old ones too), not every piece is a masterpiece. I some of his work more than others, just like I did with Elmore, Easley, Caldwell, and Parkinson (I never liked Otis' style).
I was gonna like this post until I got to the end... ;)
