I voted for "Other".
While I like to see some scantily clad females, I would
a) want to see it used sparingly
b) want to see scantily clad males, too - just for equality reasons.

Jane Gamer must be satisfied, too - and what would Conan be with a suit?

Chainmail bikinis got the shaft. And they can have my shaft when they pry my cold, dead fingers off it.

i voted for "on all female characters", but only because there was no "on all characters" option. ;)

i think they should be in books where that style of art fits the tone of the material. so far i have been able to dismiss alot of d20 material based on the cover art (that's right judging books by their covers) and be fairly acurate as far as their usefulness to me goes. most of the stuff i have read that had a scantily clad woman on the cover will be used as toilet paper before it is used in my campaign. but hey, is the adolescent teenage boy (no offense to those of you who fit that demographic, i'm not much older then you) going to buy the book with the hot chick on the cover or the book with a picture of a monk in meditation?

I suspect most gamers have ample porn collections, so I see no reason why we need to objectify women in gaming art. Since much of the art that comes with d20 products is amateurish and rife with bad anatomy, it makes the whole thing even more embarrassing for the hobby.

That's just my take, though.

I think its a matter of context. If its a conanesqe world, let those sultry priestesses show some skin. And show Conan with no shirt, ripping through their foes.

One pic that always bothered me was that of Alias on the cover of Azure Bonds. Its not a bad pic really, but the armor has a cut out on the chest to show off her breasts. It just looked silly - if she's wearing armor, put her in armor.

I'm an adult - all of my gaming material does not have to be PG. There's room for the succubus with nipples showing, but don't make Lidda disrobe just for sex appeal value.
