I have just watched Fables of Refuge From this post's recommendation.
DM Does not know the rules
Players do not know the rules
Only one player really tries to RP
Background music is bad minstrel tavern stuff
Suffice to say Probably not the best show out there. Not by a long way.
Maybe it will improve, but it hasn't given me great hope for it.
There are plenty of shows out there that start with everyone knowing what they are doing and most of them RP'ing really well from the start. That is what we need in a show that we are spending our precious time investing in. I personally do not need another show where they are all having to figure things out as they go along. Especially as the RP is poor to vague from some of them.
High Rollers is OK. I like the DM but he seems to do better with WOTC one-Shots. Some of the Players are not good enough for me to watch the show long term but as I said, Its OK.
Critical Role is Good Quality. The first one I tune into.
I think the list here is an odd one and there are an awful lot of omissions from the poster that are much better quality than Fables. This is all of course subjective.
