For what it's worth, I had a roughly 50 page chunk falling out. I was able to repair it with a thin line of gorilla glue. It's been about a month now and it's not showing any sign of further problems yet.

Sorry that I missed this question. The cost to laser cut things and remove the binding was around $6. The cost to make two spiral bound books was $15, so $21 for everything.

Fantastic. Where did you have this done? What kind of shop would I look for to do the laser cutting and spiral binding?

I went to a local (non-chain) print shop to have this done. I've heard both good and bad experiences at Kinkos and similar chains.

I'd recommend finding a place and bringing your book in. Tell them what you want done and have them explain how they'd cut things up for you. Decide from there.

Xenu, you're a genius.

I used your cover images and photos and it gave my local print shop everything they needed. I brought it home today and my wife flipped out and took her (brand new, perfectly bound) PH over to have it chopped up and spiral bound too.

It's amazing how much more portable and useful it is. Being able to lie it on a table open to a page is a huge win.

Anyway, thanks dude.
