Yeah, seen that in a couple prior videos: it is fun.Not mentioned so far is this piece of bard art (Gnome Bard with kobold dancing irresistably? If so they're fighting kobolds at level 11+)

Sort of another instance of the D&D art team going with what is hip in fantasy art right no.I don’t mind the hairstyles myself. It’s more the modern-ish clothing and shoes that bother me (like those glamour bards). I found it off-putting in the Radiant Citadel art and am continuing to find it off-putting here.
I know there’s been a lot of chatter here recently about moving D&D away from medieval fantasy but that’s one thing I like about D&D. If I wanted to play a game with people wearing modern-ish outfits, I’d play d20 Modern or a sci-fi game or something. D&D = clothing inspired by nothing more recent than the 1600s at the latest.
Those glamor bards are concept art. The final piece didn’t look like she had modern shoes.

To be fair, the new PHB still has more authentic Medieval clothing than the 3E one did: more appropriate buckle quotient.
Yeah, here’s a screenshot of the final version. I suspect the concept pieces were mainly to establish tone, especially given that the first of the two was such a direct Ziggy Stardust reference.Cool. I have to admit I haven't watched any of the videos. I've just been referring to the images people have been posting in the various threads.
Yes, that is much more palatable. Very 80s glam rock but in a pseudo-medievalish way.Yeah, here’s a screenshot of the final version. I suspect the concept pieces were mainly to establish tone, especially given that the first of the two was such a direct Ziggy Stardust reference.
Oh, there is more where that came from, much of it with distinctly trad fantasy Medieval clothing.Cool. I have to admit I haven't watched any of the videos. I've just been referring to the images people have been posting in the various threads.

The third one is Vajra, the current Blackstaff and High Mage of Waterdeep.I recognize Laeral Silverhand along side Drizzt, but I don't recognize the 2rd wizard, does anyone who she is?
Interesting to note that the imagine shows at least 2 heavily multiclassed characters. Drizzt is Fighter/Ranger/Barbarian/Monk and Laeral Silverhand is a Wizard/Sorcerer/Ranger.
That’s Jalarzi, Celestial Warlock and member of the Circle of Eight. Not Tasha.
