The Acquaintances feature on Facebook is a powerful tool. Put all of those not-really friends on your Acquaintances list, adjust your default Facebook settings to display posts to Friends But Not Acquaintances and only switch it back to Friends when you're posting about this upcoming event.

I do this for some folks at work, some relatives and in-laws, and people from school. They have no idea that they're missing 99% of what I post.
Did not know this! I want to keep my photos but want more privacy…this is great!

Productive weekend.

Cleaned house.
Got in my 1 workout.
Have almost completed my Shadowdark Psion!

Now, I have to work on my 'real job' for the rest of the day most likely, but I am glad I could get some other things done and (selfishly) focus on something fun for a bit.

I'll work on layout and putting my Shadowdark stuff in a beta state over the next week or so (after which I'll cry if all my stuff gets done with the new Kickstarter, but such is life!) but happy to get something on digital paper/spreadsheets.

So my oldest son, recalling tales of me running home from grammar school as a kid to watch "Speed Racer," bought me a DVD set (under the belief that I would enjoy watching every episode again, half a century later - he meant well). We watch two episodes a night and are now in season four (of five). In one of tonight's episodes, Speed uttered what has to be one of the most (unintentionally, no doubt) hilarious lines in the whole show:

"You're the most evil man in the world, and you're wacky!"

I almost did a spit take. We're now planning on incorporating that line into everyday conversation whenever possible.

I think it’s adorable your eldest wants to vibe with what his old man was into as a kid. To me, it sounds like he’s not just trying to be nice to Dad, but emulate him as well.

You’re a lucky man!👍🏽
