Hmmm... as I'm in the UK, this sounds like an Ebay seller's opportunity.

Seriously, that's what's going to happen. The European sellers are going to make a ton off the US collectors, and the US sellers will do the same with the European collectors. Unless Lego releases the sets as Shop-At-Home exclusives, which has been hinted at by several of the Lego reps.

Do you know if the dino sets include cavemen (I know, there were no cavemen back then) minifigs or just the dinos?

Don't worry. CL says you'll be able to get them through Shop at Home. If not, you can bet they'll be on Ebay. They'll be more expensive on Ebay from Europe but that's the only difference.

As cool as I think the idea is, I find the execution somewhat unappealing. Mega Blocks really raised the bar on dragons. I'm a bit of a LEGO snob -- I don't like to mix my LEGO's with other brands, but I think the Mega Blocks dragons are just way cooler than those Nidhogg dragons, and wyverns and Midgard serpents.

And I do love LEGO dinosaurs. I wonder, though -- we've already had LEGO dinosaur sets in the past -- how are these going to be different? Maybe I should start cruising around lugnet more for some sneak previews.

I have no idea to answer both questions. I have not yet seen previews of the Dinosaur sets, but I haven't been looking for them as they don't really interest me. Sorry. But if I come across something, I'll post it here.
