Must have Wizards and Warriors!!

Wizards and Warriors was a TV series back in 1984, when D&D was real big, with the oD&D sets coming out and all that.

But this show was incredible, and did NOT deserve to be cancelled after 8 episodes.

There's a very good website about the show at www.wizardsandwarriors.org if you want to see what I'm talking about.

But at any rate, I'm sure there's people here that have seen this show, and perhaps they may have copies of it, or maybe know how I can get ahold of one. Please help me! It was very influencial in my development as a gamer, and I wish to go back to it to get some of the magic of the old days back.

Also, I wanna use Dirk Blackpool and Vector the wizard as influences for some villians.

I fondly remeber watching that show. It is a real shame that it didn't last longer. That would be a good show for Sci-Fi Channel to put on a weekday.

I particularly like the episode where a wizard said that wizards existed to serve the nobility, and a noble asked the wizard to serve him a sandwich. It was a funny show.

While I forget the names of the kingdoms, it was mentioned that the kingdom run by the main villain had economic problems. This added a bit of realism.
