D&D General MtG Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Spoiler Thread

Most Magic Creatire subtypes have seen action across the entire Color wheel, to some extent, so I don't think it would be a big problem.

I think Mayne he means that it would be hard to build a Tribal Devil deck with Asmodeus if he is a different Color than most eligible cards? But I don't think WotC necessarily cares about that, Asmodeus isn't Red.

If not Asmodeus what about Demigorgan?

That would be interesting: Demigorgan feels like a good fit for the Planar Portals Commander deck. In addition to the face Commander, and the extra Monster Commanders, James Eyatt said there would be some familiar Legendary cards in the Commander decks.
I was thinking the same thing. Demogorgon as a Rakdos madness commander seems like a slam dunk on flavor, and it fits well with Prosper's cast from exile ability.

Maybe something like, "When you cast a spell for its madness cost, copy it."

Did he say how many? The Strixhaven decks had two mono coloured Legendaries each in addition to the 2 Commanders, but there is really no reason to limit them to only 2 none Commander Legendaries. 2 per deck would be 8, 3 would be 12 and 4 per deck would be 16 none Commander Legendary characters. Where did James Wyatt say this?

I didn't see an exact number, in the most recent Magic Weekly, apparently.

I have searched, but I can't find anywhere that James Wyatt taking about the legendary creatures of the Commander Decks, but I did find out at least some of the Commander Decks could have more then 2 Legends who could be the Commander (I suspect the two with an extra Commander or two to be the two red decks, they only use 2 colours.

From this video, Gavin say that each deck has a hero and a monster that can command the deck. There might be other Legendary creatures in these decks, but they won't have the colour identity to helm the precon.

ETA: Traditionally precons used to have 3 options to command the precon, but Strixhaven changed that to two as WotC found the 3rd possible commander was never popular and diluted/weakened the deck by having a different focus.
