Anybody taken a look at the site? You can get there through IGN, or just google, I guess. I looked at it a bit, but I think I liked it better when it was a White Wolf game.

Wonder if the movie'll have rampant homoerotic overtones?

Have not heard anything about it but it does sound interesting.

Action/Adventure, Romance and Suspense/Horror

Set in the secret nocturnal and supernatural world of vampires and werewolves, two groups that have been at war for centuries, this is the story of a romance between a female vampire warrior, Selene who's famous for her strength and werewolf-hunting prowess, and a peace-loving male werewolf, Michael who wants to end the war.

MPAA Rating: Not Rated.

Release Date: September 19th, 2003 (wide).

The trailer looks interesting, but the fact it's being released in Sept. is troubling. That's the time of year the movie studios generally dump their crappy movies. It's known in the industry as the Dog Days, 'cause that's when the real dog movies get released.

Of course, just because the studio execs think it's a dog, doesn't mean it will turn out to be one.

I know what you mean about "dog days" but it may be released then just because it has no big stars in it, and very few films will be foolish enough to complete with Matrix 3 and Lotr:tRotK later in the year. The summer blockbusters are over, so it's the most logical time to try and squeeze some money out of the "speculative fiction" (horror/scifi/fantasy) crowd.

A link to the trailer

and

the main site.

Of course, it might just suck. :D

You mean the movie with Kate Beckinsale?

I don't think White Wolf is in any way connected to the movie. Besides, if the movie is way too close to looking like The World of Darkness, White Wolf would bare their fangs and go in a frenzy.

HOWEVER, White Wolf may see this a marketing opportunity to push their wares.
