Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* | Big Game Trailer | In Theaters May 2

A group of goofy, funny, wise cracking one liner goofballs.........................................................again?

And an end of the world threat.........................................again?

I'd guess Galavatron.....he fought the real Thunderbolts(not this team) like, er five times?

Too bad we could not get a REAL Thunderbolts movie...with the dual identities and Baron Zemo and all. Guess that would be too close to an original idea.

Wouldn't work in the MCU.

Zemo is a different character. It might have been closer during the blip, but they decided not to go that route. I did love the original Thunderbolts comics, but I understand why they did not do it (it may have helped more if they already established a bunch of C-level villains at the time).

Let’s not forget that the “Thunderbolts” name is probably only temporary (hence the asterisk).

Aren’t they more likely to be the Dark Avengers or whatever? (I’ve never read a Marvel comic, so forgive my ignorance.)

Looks better than FF at least.

(Maybe thats because I just don't really dig the retrovibe the FF trailer had or something...not sure, but this at least looks better)

The bottom of the poster has a note for the asterisk.

Ha. I’m guessing that’s not the actual reason for the asterisk but it’s still funny.
With the six (ok, six and Bob's head and hand) characters displayed in an asterisk image in the poster, I think it's the final title, and I think the note has been the plan, since it echoes Val's line in the trailer.

You know... one of other two things are probably happening here: either Ghost and Taskmaster are going to be completely underutilized. Or they are actually saving some really good stuff with these characters for the actual film. Odd are probably not great that it is the latter rather than the former.
