This topic could probably go under general RPG, but seeing as this board is more active and that I am trying to do this for my D&D campaign I posted here. Anyway, the topic is pretty clear. I'm looking for a lot of maps. I don't care what they are from I just want maps for D&D. So here's the thing, whenever I have see topics like this pop up people usually post links to other sites with a crapload of maps, but you have to save them one by one. So today I'm looking for a torrent or zip or whatever kind of file which has maps in bulk quantity. Does such a thing exist or am I doomed to spend hours searching through maps and saving them one by one?

If you want the convenience of getting maps in quantity, then you can buy them from drivethrurpg. There are quite a few map packs that are very good and re-usable for many games.

Not that I know of Evenglare, sorry. But i have to ask, why do you need so many maps at once? You can only use one or two per a session of gaming usually anyway. i've always found great stuff on cartographers guild, but yeah, that DOES take some slow searching time.

I'm a fan of http://rpgmapshare.com/. The maps there are divided into galleries by genre (fantasy, sci-fi, etc.). You have the option of adding an entire gallery to your cart and downloading it as a .zip file.

There's no charge for downloads, but if you like the site, consider making a donation to help it stay open and free!

If he is mapping out a large dungeon complex in advance, or even wilderness area or city adventure, because he has no way to know which way his players will go in any given session, it makes sense.

Great resources! Most of thos are new to me.

What if you want large maps pre-printed, like the D&D map packs? I love those things but they only made three sets as far as I can find.

Haunted Keeps
Shattered Temples
Vaults of the Underdark

Anyone know of other places to get this sort of thing?

Thanks for the links guys I'll check them out. As for why I want all the maps at once? Well it's such a hassle to go to these sites and look through them one by one really because of the click factor. Most sites have pages of maps... say 10 a page if they are thumbnail. Then you have to click on the thumbnail wait for it to load, then you right click to save the map. Then you have to go back if it takes you to a separate page OR you have to close the popup/tab if it opens a new one, then you rinse and repeat. While getting one or 2 maps like this is fine, I generally like to just go to my picture folder on my PC and open up a picture then hit my left and right arrows to browse through them.

Also I use a projector with maptools. I'd love to just load up a bunch of maps at once in maptool and have them labeled. I started using a projector a few weeks ago and my players really like the map aspect now and want to explore a lot, and since I have the ability to pop open a map they feel as though they can go almost anywhere with minimal work on my part as a DM.
