Agreed. Though it might be easier to just rule that the Turn Undeads they provide cnanot be used to power divine feats or anything else that use up Turn Undead uses. All they can be used for is to actually Turn Undead.

No idea what those do, but somewhere suggested that item that grants feat (extra turning in this case) should cost about 10k if no preqs needed. Restriction to turn undead only coulda be needed though.

Edit: actually why even restrict, if player wants go get past that she'll take all other feats as items and take all feats as extra turning. Persistent spell is potent, but hey its just 1 for loads of turning attempts. Theres hundreds of things that can be overdone if player has 100 items that can be used in a way ala nightstick (hey 20 metamagic rods, who needs feats anyway:)

Really, Divine feats were a bad idea. "Oh noes! The cleric can't use their Turn Undead in every situation." Well, maybe a balancing factor was that you weren't supposed to use Turn Undead in every situation.
