Kind of reminds me of Brimstone, he was not all bad in that show but they should have gone with Prometheus, he would have been a better character and you could work myth around him, without religious views of Lucifer.

No, I'd say not. Perhaps "iZombie" and "Forever" are doing well enough that someone decided they need their own supernatural police procedural? (The thing I mentioned, a while back, about band wagon jumping by networks, when a particular genre is trending well)

What Brimstone did you watch? He was all bad - there was never a moment when seeming goodness didn't have a hook embedded in it! It was wonderful!
