Limited Edition Box Set Styles, which do you prefer?

Sacrosanct

Legend
With tariffs, doing a large scale boxed set is out. However, I still want to do one. These will be a short run, limited edition. Probably only 10 boxes or so. Of the two styles, which do you prefer?

Option A: Traditional box, with lid lifting off
Option B: Looks like a book, and opens like a book

Ignore the wood type, these are just prototypes and I can make the book one with black walnut or other wood. I'm looking for more of what style of box would you prefer.

Bonus question: Assuming each box contains 4 books (between 25 and 80 pages each--basically the rulebook broken down into sections), a set of dice. cardstock maps, and two dozen minis like these, are numbered 1-10 and signed, how much would you be willing to pay for it?

Dark book looks better?

Based on the results (I've asked this multiple places), it seems most folks like the book option, with the black walnut as the covers with the color resin inlay, and a lighter wood "pages". I've designed it to fit almost perfectly in a flat rate priority box ;)

What other info do you have on this project? I have yet to hear about it.

It's for Bugbears & Borderlands 2e. I really wanted to do a boxed set for this edition, but tariffs really put a wet rag on that one. So I'm creating a limited edition of wooden box collector editions. Since I am doing the work myself, the cost is kept reasonable. I announced open playtesting a couple weeks ago, with a hopeful release date this summer some time.
