D&D General LEGO D&D minifigures -- pics of all 12

Dwarf Barbarian (with battle axe and torch)
Githyanki Warlock (with arcane eye staff and dagger)
Tiefling Sorcerer (with pseudodragon familiar)
Dragonborn Paladin (with shield and mace)

Halfling Druid (with staff and bird companion)
Aarakocra Ranger (with bow and dog companion)
Mind flayer (with Intellect devourer pet)
The vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich (with sword , goblet and rat)

Half-elf Bard (with lute and sword)
The Lady of Pain (with interdimensional cube)
The Lich and Red Wizard Szass Tam (with skull)
The Archmage Tasha (with cauldron and spell book)
I guessed mostly right.

I identified the Half Elf as an Elf − true enough.

I missed the Dwarf, and thought the Halfling was a Dwarf.

I didnt see the Githyanki coming, and thought it was a Gnome. I guess Gith are Intellectual Property so we will see more of them.

I am surprised there is no Orc.

I thought the blue and red checkboxes were good guys and bad guys, but perhaps more accurately PCs and NPCs.

I got the four NPCs right except for Lady of Pain being a ... Medusa?

I cannot vouch for this being 100% authentic -- I saw this on social media -- but it matches the rumors and sure looks accurate.

I think this is an interesting mix of character types and a few iconic characters. That vampire is apparently supposed to be Strahd, so hopefully he has a nicer face that can be be turned around to show. Overall, this seems like a good toolkit for people to create their own D&D minifigs. (Obviously, rpgminifigs.com has been doing just that for years now.)

As always, I do wish they had included a few characters from DADHAT or BG3, but maybe these will sell well enough to merit a second wave, and we'll get those characters at that point.

Well, the news is out - 12 D&d minifigures in blind boxes coming out on September 1. I just dropped a video about it from a D&d fan perspective and from what I can gather, the app Brick Search can scan a dot matrix/QR code on the base of the box, so you can find out what is in the box. Needless to say I am super excited to use these minis in my solo rpg series that uses Lego!

Hey Jon, feel free not to reveal this if it is a trade secret =), but as you are in the retail industry for minifigures, are you able to confirm if the blind boxes that the Dnd minifigs will come in have a dot matrix code on the bottom that can be scanned to identify which mini the box holds? I know Brick Search could be used for this on the more recent CMF boxes/bags. Thanks!

Hopefully the orc will be coming in Series 2! And hopefully sales are good enough that they make a series 2. I like that this is a lot more accessible than the set that came out earlier in the year. It is an amazing set, but really a collector's item given the cost. I'm still debating whether to get it or not...
