If you were a magic belt, what would you be?

Okay, great ideas, but keep in mind this just came off the body of a bad guy who was pretty effective. So it's probably not cursed. Why would he walk around wearing a cursed belt?

Yeah, I know, but I thought it was a fun idea nevertheless.

Necromancy, huh? How about this?

Girdle of False Life

The Girdle of False Life causes the wearer to gain all the benefits and drawbacks of the Undead type. He is immune to poison, sleep, paralysis, stunning, disease, death effects, and necromantic effects, and he ignores mind-influencing effects (charms, compulsions, phantasms, patterns and morale effects). He is not subject to critical hits, subdual damage, ability damage, or energy drain. He has no Constitution score and is therefore immune to any effect requiring a Fortitude save (unless it affects objects). He loses any Constitution bonus or penalty affecting hit points. He uses his Charisma modifier when making Concentration checks. Negative energy (such as an inflict wounds spell) can heal him, and positive energy (such as a cure wounds spell) can harm him. He is not at risk of death from massive damage, but when reduced to 0 hit points or less, he is immediately killed. He has darkvision with a range of 60 feet. If he is killed while wearing the Girdle of False Life he cannot be raised, but ressurection can affect him.

Of course, if the affects of this belt would have seriously changed the course of the battle, you probably won't be able to use it. Oh well.

Here's the one from my campaign:

Sytor's Red Belt: This belt of red leather is stitched with a winding knot work pattern. The belt has five notches for adjusting it, but fits any wearer perfectly no matter what notch it is set to.

When the wearer tightens the belt one notch, it will either provide them with one day's worth of sustenance or casts reduce on them (wearer?s choice). When the wearer loosens the belt one notch, it casts enlarge or stinking cloud (wearer's choice, the wearer is not affected by the stinking cloud and it is centered on them). Adjusting the belt is a move equivalent action.

The belt can only be taken off if it is set to the first notch. When put on it automatically sets itself to the first notch.

Belt of Constipation

It plugs you up. Badly.

On the bright side, you're so tense all the time that violent actions get a bonus. You count as being one level higher for the purposes of hurting people. It takes your mind off what's going on inside...for a moment or two....

Shouldn't that work like a permanent rage?

How about a Money Belt? Just use rules similar to Bucknard's Everful Purse and have a hidden compartment on the inside face of the belt.

Or maybe the belt isn't really magical and the buckle is: then simply substitute any magic item effect usually attributed to a brooch or periapt.

Maybe it's as simple as a Belt of Disguise?

Borrow from an old classic like Baldur's Gate. Make it a Belt of Gender Change. Something the mage was tinkering with, or something he created back during his experimental days. For a meaner touch, make it cursed so that it can't be removed and/or have it bestow a Charisma bonus.

Demiurge out.

Perhaps a Utility Belt, a la Batman?

A Bible Belt, which always lets the bearer know appropriate Biblical quotes to make him sound dramatic?

The Tightened Belt, makes the wearer immune to hunger.

I was actually thinking of a goofy TV info-mercial type excercise belt that reduces your weight as you wear it or some banana oil crap like that, but then I thought "Hmm, a health (constitution) enhancing belt might actually be cool." Especially if he's a little lean on the HP.
