D&D 5E I want all the D&D ... what will it cost?

I was wondering .... what happens if you want ALL THE 5E D&D? How much will it cost? So I took a quick tour of Amazon, and here's the break down of how much it would cost someone to own all the D&D (5e), as of right now, in the US, through Amazon!

(This does not include collections of books, special editions, boxed sets like the Essentials which is $15.99 or the innumerable dice, spell cards, DM screens etc. Just rule books).

Honestly, not that bad!

But just don't get into miniatures. At that point, you might as well start a cocaine addition- it will cost you less.

Damn, books are cheap on American amazon! :-O UK amazon prices are about 50% higher.

But you know you need miniatures ... it's so much fun to tell your players that they feel the earth tremble and then put this mini on the table.

In Italy the maximum discount on books (except for limited sales) has been 15% for several years and, quite recently, it has been lowered to 5%.

The cheaper the books in the country, the less likely people are to read.

Now I have to get watching the Real Housewives.

Mythic Odysseys of Theros $44.96

I would only add one note to your list.

Since Theros will not be available til July, it cannot be gotten now with the rest of the books. And as Amazon does, we know the price will drop between now and release, or shortly after release, to between the price of Ravnica and Wildemount, so you can drop your total by $10-20. Not much, I know, but that is a couple of sets of dice to get started with. :)

I was considering buying the Wildemount book for awhile now but decided against it more than a few times. I just bought it off Amazon for $21.74 with free shipper from a third party seller. Should be here sometime next week so there is still the possibility that its not the book that was advertised as that's cheap even for Amazon.
