Did you watch Y Tu Mama Tambien? Teen sex romp is the smallest part of it. explict sure, but it's a movie about politics more than anything else.

I'm not sure if your asking me, but no, I've never even heard of it.

Yeah I have watched it. I wouldn't say it about politics so much as the political situation in Mexico is going on in the background of the road trip and voyage of self discovery. Sex is a pretty major part of the film when you consider, the opening scene, diving board scene, in the car, and the closing scene after the bar, and for a lot of the film it is all the two lads talk about.

You are right there is indeed a political aspect but that comes across more through the narrator telling the off camera events of some of the people you only briefly see on screen.

Anyway I was only using it for comic effect. ;)

I need to get out more.:( I can't think of another movie that I have seen with Gary Oldman in it besides the Fifth Element.

You've not seen, Leon, JFK, Dracula, Air Force One, True Romance, Romeo is Bleeding, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead or Sid and Nancy?

You don't need to get out more you need to stay in more and watch some videos/DVD's.

More interesting is that Alfonso Cuaron, of teen-sex romp Y Tu Mama Tambien fame, is directing so we will probably get to see Hermione, Harry and the rest getting it on even if it wasn't in the book. :D
He also did "A Little Princess" about 8 years ago; he can do "non-sex romp" films, too! :)

Are you a cirle jerks fan (the band, the band i tells ya!)? cos there's a great circle jerks joke in that film...
Though they have quite a rep, I only know them from their stuff in Repo Man (I think they have a song or two on the soundtrack).

Should I buy some Circle Jerks records and re-live the 80s?

Spoilers for anyone who hasn't read the last 3 books

It seems like a wise course to pick an actor who's best known (at least in America) for playing villains to play Sirius Black, as he seems like the villain for most of PoA.
