Is there a way to see how many (or which) posters have added you to their ignore list? I've seen the feature on other sites showing who has blocked your account.

I ask because I feel my posts mainly get ignored here on ENWorld.

Do I come of like an a-hole?
Does my screen name offend?
Do I smell funny?
Or am I too whiny like in this very post?

Like I don't enjoy talking just to hear myself speak, I also don't enjoy posting to a near vaccuum.

Do others get the same impression around here or is it just me?

We do not have that feature, and from past discussion, I wouldn't think it is likely that we'd implement that feature.

Lots of posts get mostly ignored on EN World. Heck, even when mods post in threatening colors, we get ignored. It isn't personal, dude

If it is any consolation, a lot more people read than post, so your posts are probably being read and appreciated by people.

Also, if it is any consolation, I rarely get people quote and reply to my posts either! At one time I had a bit of a problem because things that I thought were a question actually read more like a statement, which didn't really invite engagement

Unfortunately it sometimes seems as though conflict is the only thing which prompts responses, and that is a shame, as a group of people working together on an idea is great.

As an admin elsewhere, I can probably answer why to this..

Basicly, Enworld as a community is concerned about keeping the peace. People often use their ignore list so that they don't lash back at someone, or because they simply don't like them, or for any other reason. Many people take offense to being on ignore, so allowing them to see who is ignoring them would cause unneeded drama/tension/offense.

And don't worry. There are plenty of people who are perfectly capable of ignoring you without an ignore list.

I know I've done this a lot. I read WAY more than I post.
