Be permanently invisible and never lose anything.

Use Divination , Precognition or scry on the caster to determine exactly when the Discern Location spell is being cast, then use Time Hop (or mass time hop) to not be there when it occurs.

Go to where the caster is... That'll keep him from casting the discern location in the first place. If he insists on casting it anyway, attack him to disrupt the spell...

Or use one of the more reasonable methods already suggested. Also, making friends with a god could be helpful.

As mentioned in the spell description: the direct intervention of a deity, and so by possible extension a Miracle spell.


Other options? Aah.. judicious use of Magic Jar or other means of possession/mind control, combined with more traditional means of foiling divination?

The caster has to have seen -you-. And if what he has seen isn't you, but rather someone else whose body you were hijacking, it would be a reasonable leap to say that Discern Location doesn't find the real you.
