Everquest Role Playing Game

Warning to those who have or are thinking of ordering this book. I just received mine and it has duplicate pages in it in addition to about 30 missing pages that contain the bulk of the character classes. Other than this small but impossibly large problem, the book is OK, just wish I knew something of the classes available to play.

Overall the Everquest RPG book's content is extremely good. Although I have little experience with the online game, the world of Norrath (spelling?) is quite large and well laid out. I just hope to see some regional books on the world of Everquest in the future. The game does have some major deviations to 3e dnd and will provide some interesting twists if you are dumping a group of players into it the first time.

This post is not intended as a flame to white-wolf. They have been extremely helpful and are sending me a new book. Very fine folks at White-Wolf as always!

If you bought the book from a store, take it back. If you bought it online, contact the retailer. I'm sure White Wolf will make it right. It's a hassle, but at least you'll end up with a useable book.

True, the exalted game is very nice indeed. The reference to the binding I was making is that all of the hardbound books I buy from white-wolf eventually have the pages falling out. My first edition D&D books are still intact. Let me futher my post by saying that the Everquest Book is extremely nice and has really good content. Just please check the pages in the book if you intend to buy! The missing pages are 65 to 96.

A friend of mine is expecting it tomorrow since he preordered last week, I'll let him see this thread.

SSS is a part of WW and I've got all the SL books and they're fine. I haven't had any trouble with the binding on my copies. I don't understand, you must've had bad luck with your purchases from WW.

This sounds like a printer problem to me and has nothing to do with White Wolf. Contact your retailer and you can get a proper return on it.

How odd. I have pretty much all the hard-cover WoD books. They are all in great shape after several years of weekly use.

Both my Exalted book (what a gorgeous book) and my Relics and Rituals are doing just fine. I've never had a problem with WW material.

Yeah...I have never had any problems with my White Wolf books....I still have my 1st edition Vampire: The Masquerade book and it has been through hell and back but is still in good shape with a really nice binding...the only WW i'm having a problem with is my Vampire: Dark Ages one...but thats just because my dog's 4 puppies decided its top corner looked like a scooby snack..:D

Folks, I didn't mean to start anything here, I was a little hurried in my first post and probably should have omitted the comment on the binding, guess it goes to show you I love their games, white-wolf's that is. The warning was meant to, exactly that, warn peeps that there are some problems with the book. I did not intend this as a flame for white-wolf.
