These are actually two of my favorite races... and they both have fun tricks for my favorite class (Swordmage|Warlock).

Eladrin for the feytouchcharger, yanks for the shieldmage/infernalock stat synergy.

The written fluff for eladrin is lacking, but I associate them strongly with the Seelie... and that's just damned cool. Vote goes to Eladrin.

Eladrin are OK, but are elves, and have a racial power that is iconic of the "push minis around a battlemat" playstyle, so I can't vote FOR Them.

I could vote for Githyanki, but I wouldn't expect 'em to win. I like the whole "ostentatious military" vibe, the undead worship, the dragon icing on the awesome cake...all cool things.

As I said in the Githzerai poll, Githyanki are lame. Eladrin lost most of the awesome parts of being an elf when the Wood Elves kicked them out of the club, but they still beat the lowly githyanki.

Githyanki: "I'm not lowly! I'm very high level!"
Lich-queen: "Really?" *Nom* *Nom* *NOM* *NOM!* "High in flavor, I'll give you that."

I actually love the distinction b/w elves and eladrin...cleared a lot up for me and how to explain an 'elf' in dnd to new players.

I like their story in 4e - especially their home(s). But I love the githyanki - whose art has always been cool and evocative. But, like others, I want to play them and I am the DM ;) So eladrin for me on this one.

Githyanki, because if I wanted to play an eladrin I'd be playing an immortal CG celestial rather than an elf under a different name.

I like high elves and I like fey, but I also like ASTRAL SKY PIRATE WARRIOR-MAGES with dragons and mercurial mind-swords and cities built on the colossal dead of ancients and a tyrannical lich-queen of a mistress and a bitchin' fashion sense and an interesting long-established planar history and so on and so forth et cetera. Githyanki ++.
