It's been 15 years since the last time we did one of these threads, so it's about time to do it again: What are your desert island RPGs?
1) HERO 4th (with Ultimate Martial Artist for HERO 4th)
2) 3.5Ed D&D
3) Paranoia
4) Traveller
5) Space: 1889
6) Numenara/The Strange/Cypher System (just Cypher, if pressed)
7) Mutants & Masterminds 2Ed
8) Luxury item- big bucket o’dice

1. Shadowdark
2. Mothership
3. D&D 2014
4. Kal-Arath
5. Solo Borg (once it is released)
6. Traveller
7. Ironsworn
8. Pirate Borg (gotta have pirates on an island, I guess)

As book probably Ptolus - City by the Spire, and as luxury some dice.
Surprised that I could easily fill the list, and have more I would have wanted to add. Had to get some solo games in there, because, you know, scheduling ship wrecks seems like a hassle.

Current Mood:
1. Stonetop (PbtA):
my preferred Dungeon World hack
2. Dragonbane: fun to play, fun to run, and fun to hack
3. Fate: a fully functional generic system
4. Fabula Ultima: lots of creative builds to try and styles of JRPGs
5. Numenera: great for my science-fantasy fix with lots of support
6. Call of Cthulhu: lots of modules, adventures, and eras of play
7. Blades in the Dark: the OG FitD with sandbox style play
8. Traveller: lots of material for a sci-fi sandbox game
